Meet Debra Penzone:
Salon executive, inspirational speaker and philanthropist.
For over 20 years, Debra has been integral to the success of The Charles Penzone Salons. Throughout her career, she has served as artistic director, training director, senior vice president and most recently as president.
Debra helped create the salon’s strategies for serving guests and developing loyal employees, including developing the Career Advancement Program (C.A.P.), which provides associates with the tools and knowledge for professional and personal success. As a result of her expertise and direction, the Charles Penzone organization maintains an incomparable level of service excellence and an unparalleled employee retention rate.
In addition to her salon expertise, Debra is a natural leader and a skilled public speaker. In 2007, she graduated from both the Patricia Fripp Speaking School and Leadership Columbus, one of the top five leadership programs in the country. In the fall of 2007, Debra attended the world-renowned Patricia Fripp seminar, “Good to Great” in Las Vegas. Debra’s leadership is deeply rooted in the community through numerous honorary chair positions, her hands-on efforts with cancer awareness and her devotion to causes for women and children. Debra also completed the Dale Carnegie public speaking course.
Today, Debra blends her expertise in creating amazing experiences for guests and associates with her natural flair for engaging and inspiring audiences. She speaks to and consults with local and national businesses on motivational topics such as Creating a Purposeful Work Environment, Beauty at Any Age, Re-energize Your Career, Renew Your Spirit, and Re-invent Your Image, and Going the Distance—Delivering Guest Services like a Champion.
Debra is committed to balance and purpose in all aspects of life. She is active in her community and she donates her passion, leadership, and a portion of the proceeds earned from her seminars to help many non-profits organizations in central Ohio and her own foundation, Earth Angels Foundation.
